Installation & Workmanship Warranty

For systems installed by the Patwill Technical Team, we provide a 6-Month Workmanship Warranty. This covers:

  • Mounting integrity (ensuring panels stay on the roof).

  • Cabling and connections (fixing loose wires or connection faults).

  • System configuration errors.

What Is NOT Covered (Exclusions)

The warranty becomes void under the following conditions:

  • Negligence & Overloading: Damage caused by connecting appliances that exceed the system’s rated capacity (e.g., trying to run an unauthorized welding machine on a home system).

  • Improper Installation: If the equipment was installed by a third-party technician not authorized by Patwill Solar.

  • Physical Damage: Cracks, dents, or breakage caused by mishandling after delivery.

  • Acts of Nature: Damage caused by lightning strikes, floods, fire, or earthquakes. (We highly recommend installing a Lightning Arrestor).

  • Tampering: If the warranty seal is broken or the device casing is opened by unauthorized persons.

How to Make a Claim

Step 1: Contact Support If you notice an issue, immediately contact our support team at +234 813 070 5867 or [email protected]. Do not attempt to fix it yourself.

Step 2: Remote Diagnosis Our engineers will attempt to troubleshoot the issue remotely. Many modern inverters allow us to see error codes via the app.

Step 3: Service Visit / Return

  • For Installed Systems: We will schedule a technician to visit your site.

  • For Portable Items: You may be required to bring or ship the item to our service center for inspection.

Step 4: Repair or Replace If the fault is a manufacturing defect covered by warranty, we will repair the unit free of charge or replace it with a unit of equivalent value.

Return & Exchange Policy

Items purchased directly from our store (such as portable generators or fans) can be returned within 7 days of purchase if:

  • The item is in its original, unopened packaging.

  • The item is unused and in brand-new condition.

  • A receipt or proof of purchase is provided.
